I am the owner of Twirl, along with my husband Courtney, and the lead stylist for the Salon.  I have returned to my hometown of San Antonio, Texas, to open Twirl after working at Bumble and bumble in New York City. 
  
I went to beauty school shortly after graduating from Texas A&M University with a Nutritional Sciences degree.  A very strange route to get where I am now.  For those who knew me at the time, starting beauty school was like being reborn.  I am forever grateful for the support and encouragement from my husband along the way.   
 
My first job out of beauty school was assisting David Gonzales at Salon David in San Antonio.  Due to his excellent nurturing, and generosity, I quickly moved up to become a well trained Stylist and Educator,  taking every course offered at Bumble and bumble University and L’Oreal Academy in New York City.  My experiences in New York always left me hungry for more.  So I made the big move to The City and became full time staff at Bumble and bumble.   
 
I learned so much from my time there, and had more amazing experiences than I could have imagined.  Working at New York Fashion Week at Bryant Park is probably one of the greatest moments in my career so far.  It was a dream come true! 

As much as I loved New York, I also gained a new found love for home.  San Antonio has so much more to offer than I had ever realized.  Our pace of life, and general kindness, became more alluring.  I have to say that it was really the clients that brought me home.  I have had the privilege of knowing and seeing the beauty of so many fabulous people right here in great S.A.  

I look forward to this new phase of my career, and seeing where Twirl will lead.
